Biography

Marrell J. McNeal graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1981 after obtaining his Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. Shortly after his graduation from Cumberland, he relocated to East Alabama and founded his firm. In 1988, he earned an LL.M. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa, Alabama with additional study at Emory University School of Law. Marrell is licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

He has earned several multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of his clients. He is a current member Emeritus and former Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Lee County Humane Shelter. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Harvest Evangelism, which operates a residential program for men and women with substance abuse problems.

Mr. McNeal is the proud father of five children and ten grandchildren. In addition, he and his wife has served as foster parents for many years. They have had approximately two hundred foster children in their home. The McNeals live on their farm in Opelika along with two dogs, three cows and about fifteen chickens.
